*sigh*

Yeah, so surprise, surprise the Red Sox don't make it to the World Series. Were we really expecting anything different? Ah well, to quote the typical Red Sox fan: "There's always next year!" *grin*

At least the Yankees lost to the Marlins. I can take some comfort in that. Here's to a Cubbies vs. Red Sox next year!! :-D

I promise I'll update with more revelant stuff in the next few days. I've been bad about updating.

YAY Red Sox!!!

WOOOOHOOO!!! Red Sox win at the 5th game. It was a total nail biter until bottom of the 9th, right down until the last pitch. I was at Crow and when they won we all were screaming and yelling and we went outside and a bunch of us got in our cars and went up to the quad on campus. I don't know who but I ended up being one of the first cars in the line going up and I had tons of people in the streets slapping the hands of the guys in the car as I rolled slowly by. Then everybody gathered up on the quad and had a lot of cheering of yankees suck, hehe, and let's go red sox. It was absolutely unreal. I can just imagine how its gonna be when we beat New York to go to the World Series. (I'm using the power of positive thinking here *grin*) I can't even begine to image what it would be like if we actually won the World Series!! Well off to bed for me. I guess I can do crazy stupid things after all. Even at my age ;) hehe

Dealer Hits on 16, Stays on 17

Well, my friend Howie started work today as the new Windows Systems Administrator at WPI and has moved into the other half of the office. Less space for me, but this should actually be good. Already we have better lighting and it looks like things will go well. :-)

After work, Howie, my boss Jon, my other friend John and I all went to Mohican Sun to have some fun and gamble some money. I don't normally gamble but what the hell, I went anyways. I decided I'd gamble $100, no more, no less, and if I won; great. If I lost; oh well. I played blackjack all night and I got up to $125 ahead and then proceeded to lose it all. I'm not too upset since I had planned on walking out of there without the $100 anyways, and plus it was a lot of fun. I think I'll go back again sometime, but not for a while.
